Campers! Here is your chance to make sure Camp Bushido continues into 2027.

Camp Bushido is a nationally sanctioned judo and jujitsu summer camp with meals, bunkhouse accommodations, 4 daily classes, swimming, crafts, campfires, and top-notch instructors

Camp Bushido has been organized by Black Bear Judo since 2016. Since the COVID pandemic, Black Bear Judo has been covering the financial deficit of camp. Black Bear Judo can no longer cover the losses and 2026 was going to be the last year of camp. This has changed when Bawden Street Brewing Company generously donated the deposit necessary for next year's camp. This means we can have camp in 2027 if we get 40 students registered and paid for by the drop dead date of January 20, 2027. If we do not get enough campers to hold camp we will refund all prepaid camp fees. We will be giving no refunds for cancellations by prepaid campers if camp occurs. Fire up those fundraising ideas and talk up camp! We truly hope to see everyone next year.
